The internet is filled with tons of information....some of it good, lots of it totally wrong and plenty of it entertaining. Here are some of the gems I have found along the way...enjoy!

Choices Markets Nutrition Page....okay, this is mine as well! I have created a lot of resources on different nutrition needs, from Raw Foods to Lactose Free Eating and more. You can also sign up for a free nutrition tour, Ask our Experts your health question and read tons of articles on nutrition and natural health.

Eat Drink and Be Vegan...local vegan cookbook author and mother of 3, Dreena Burton, pens this blog with plenty of gorgeous vegan recipes that everyone will enjoy.

Edible Vancouver Blog...fantastic new local food and drink blog from the publishers of the gorgeous Edible Vancouver magazine

Farm Folk/City Folk...These folks are local food heroes: from educating us about local foods to advocating for more food secure communities this not for profit is on the front lines of the local food movement. They also throw one heck of a party every year, called Feast of Fields.

French Fries to Flaxseeds...This is a great food blog by a UBC student and soon-to-be RD here in Vancouver. She posts food diaries, great healthy recipes and even covers local restaurants. She also takes way better food photos than I do (I need some tips, Marianne!)

Garden to Ganache...I met Elana Westers recently at our Kelowna Gluten Free Fair, where she prepared Gluten Free Chocolate Clafoutis with Pears Poached in Red Wine. Nuff Said.

Healthy Living By friend and colleague, Lori Petruk RD, is the queen of eating green. Keep up with her exploits at

Nourished Kitchen...This gorgeous site is all about cooking and savouring real, whole foods which is the only foundation for good health. I don't always agree with some of the WAP nutrition philosophy but the recipes are amazing.

Orangette...Award winning and always inspiring food blog

Savor the Thyme...Well written blog on food, family life and feeding the wee ones...

Seven Spoons...this Canadian food blog is beautiful and ad free. Get inspired to cook here.

Tartelette...Thanks to Elana Westers for turning me on to Tartelette! I am hoping that her extensive tutorial on macarons will be my key to success :)

The Gluten Free Girl...and Chef! This is a beautiful food blog written close to home. The writing is lovely and the recipes are fantastic (and all gluten free!).
